Move to AA production, produce a classic-esque game with a great story and iterative combat every two years and they'll make billions.

@Royal_K7 @YellowFlashGuy They have never cut a canon scene. Not once. And for those with scenes which are extra cool, they have extended cuts so everyone's happy. Toei are absolutely getting better but theres still a few budget episodes of Egghead where nothing happens and less than a chapter is animated

@Unthusiasm @YellowFlashGuy I know but still sometimes it cuts out to much it’s not quality tv either it’s still toei lmao they just cut the parts they assume is filler they cut out canon scenes sometimes too that’s kind of the problem with one pace especially now that toei getting better.

Dressrosa will benefit the most from the remake. The filler drags it on so much, it becomes unbearable at times.

@Royal_K7 @YellowFlashGuy That's the point. It cuts out all the bloat that wasn't in the manga. It cuts no canon content whatsoever and turns some of the most unwatchable arcs (like Dressrosa and Whole Cake) into properly paced, quality TV

I’m in no position to chip in. But it’s Twitter, so here’s my suggestion: 1) Don’t reinvent the wheel every game -Final Fantasy nailed its combat with FFX. Use that as the foundation. Innovate around that -There’s a reason Persona, Lost Odyssey and Expedition 33 all use that model 2) Don’t make an 80 hour game that’s a chore to finish. Make a 40 hour game that people can’t wait to replay -No one wants to recommend a game that doesn’t respect the player’s time 3) Target the OG Final Fantasy fans -They are in their 30s/40s. That’s the maturity level these stories should aim for -They have the money to buy these games. But they also have limited time. They aren’t going to waste it on Disney boyband cringe 4) You don’t need to cater to new FF fans -All you have to do is call the game “Final Fantasy”. If you do that, they will buy it Final Fantasy used to be games for young people who wanted to grow up Now they feel like games made for adults who want to be kids We grew up, but the games didn’t. Maybe it’s time the games grew up, too

It's funny when people on here say like "I would trade [new series episodes] for Daleks Master Plan" Like, duh? I'd trade Logopolis 1-3 for half a DMP episode. I'd trade the Ark in Space for the final 10 minutes of the serial.

@DSkert58901 I'm not sure it'll be quite that soon but I dont think it's too much of an issue. The plot here is way smaller scale than people think it is. Another 10-15 chapters would put the arc into a out 6/7 volumes which would be about as long as Egghead was. That's still a good 4 months

So the arc really is gonna end in like 10 chapters or so. Guess he’s really sticking to his word about ending the arc this year.

@CloudfanStrife You're absolutely bang on the money. Crisis Core is made up of parallel sequel beats apart from it's a prequel. Zack did almost everything that Cloud did but now he did it first but none of that serves a reason. It belittles Clouds story and cheapens Zack as a character

My biggest problem with Crisis Core is basically this ‘you remember this cool thing from FF7? ZACK WAS THERE NOW TOO’ Its hilariously bad writing

@Sebbywebz T8 sucks for the same reason as MK1 and SF6. Theyre too fucking big. They demand to be on your HDD at all times with your full attention. They dont actually offer any more than their 360 era versions. If I end up wanting casual fighting, I just go back to SF4 in its glorious 12gb
