@UntoldOnline We may also return the cheque but it would no longer be valid. You'd need to ask the issuer to provide another cheque in the correct name. - Chris

@CooperativeBank ive called your service centre for 4 days now, to be kept on hold for 20 minutes only to be disconnected. Any other way to speak to someone?

@UntoldOnline If the name on the cheque doesn't match the account it's being paid to it can be rejected. If this happens we'd usually issue a letter to confirm. - Chris

@CooperativeBank Awaiting a credit. I noted that on the envelope it stated that it should have your own name. I use my maiden name for my account and married otherwise. the hrmc cheque came in my married name. have sent it off with a pay in slip. I wanted to know if it will still be deposited
