University of Leicester Women in Sport Society

We’re proud to launch the UoL Women in Sport Society! #XX

We’ll work on women’s health issues. That means: 💚 menstrual health and endometriosis 🤍 cervical cancer and breast cancer 💜 exercise during pregnancy and motherhood And we’ll talk about them in terms of WOMEN, GIRLS, and MOTHERS.

@LindaSmith99 This is lovely to hear ❤️ our society won’t require active participation in sports to join, just an interest in sport and health. If she chooses Leicester, we’ll be excited to meet her!

@UoLWSS My daughter has Uni of Leicester as one of her options, she doesn’t play sport atm but if she ends up at UoL I will be paying her subs for your society.

We'll be asking the University's Danielle Brown Sports Centre and Roger Bettles Centre to add a Women's Hour to their schedules - especially since they're open to the public. 🏊‍♀️🏋️‍♀️ Female students will be able to swim and work out in peace! #womenshour #savewomenssports
