We are delighted to belatedly celebrate winning the Best Image Award at 17MCM in Portoroz, Slovenia. The image of the magnetic domains in a meteorite was acquired in @UofG_MCMP using 4DSTEM DPC. Congrats to winners @DrTrev_Almeida, Emily Wackan, Josh Einsle and Stephen McVitie!🥳

It was wonderful to see PhD student @AurysSilinga from the @UofG_MCMP present his work on 3D printing magnetic nanostructures and reconstructing their magnetisation at #MMC2025. Beautiful magnetic imaging and models everywhere 🧲 🤩

We are thrilled to share our latest paper from @MicroscopySA where @UofG_MCMP members and colleagues from @fz_juelich reconstruct the 3D magnetization distribution in a cobalt nanowire. The paper can be found here: academic.oup.com/mam/article/31… We also made the cover! 🤩 🧲 🔬

The @UofG_MCMP made the most of Friday's sunshine and continued to celebrate @ColinKirkbride passing his PhD Viva and to welcome Ethan Lowe. Drinks in the sun and some tasty Japanese food at the celebratory meal afterwards - what more could you want! ☀️ 🍻 🍜
