Dr. Aujeen Lee’s classes of Community Engagement in Planning and Ecological Workshop presented to the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Office. Students collected 250 surveys and audited 260 street segments to contribute to and provide recommendations for the Love Your Block Project!

At the Regional Solutions (#RegionalSolutions) event, Valerie is talking about our research on aging in place (#AgingInPlace). Some of her brilliant work can be found on the HARP Lab website (harp.utah.edu).

1. For her Professional Project, she's working with Sugar House Park to improve access and safety for pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders. 2. Emma loves running and recently finished her first 50K! She's currently training for the St. George marathon in October.

Our faculty, Dr. Alex Ponette-Gonzalez, was featured on the Urban Forest Strategies for a Future Climate Symposium. Great turnout for insight on keeping our urban forests healthy and resistant to hotter weather. Thank you, tree experts and Wilkes!🌳🎉
