Zoom in as storm reaches West Will Co line may look like tornado rotation but it's not, the delta in winds is not colocated with higher reflectivities. Great sign, really / 109 PM

Lobelville storm is rotating fast, maybe "too much." There may be too much shear and not enough instability to make a tornado. Like when you blow the top off a bubble bath suds tower. Hard to tell right now, watching as this thing develops / 1201 PM

Good morning. Concerned about severe weather today. Tornadoes, hail, damaging winds. Concern begins late morning, continues through the afternoon, until early evening. **Mid/Late Afternoon** is main concern, not the middle of the night like "usual." 1/7

@UpbeatStruggles @whollenbeck88 The odds of you being struck by a tornado are very low. There's a 90% chance Sat. that you won't have a tornado within 25 miles of you. Even if there is, the odds of something a few hundred yards wide impacting you out of that huge 25 mile area are small. Just stay connected. ^al

Radar plus model data suggests we're dodging this event tonight. Still watching the radar for this evening but spending more time looking at tomorrow. Think a line of intense storms will come through mid/late Saturday afternoon, but that's not the only concern. 1/2

The other concern is what happens before the main line arrives. We'll be watching for supercells to develop during daylight hours. Those supercells may be able to make a tornado. Suggest you when you wake up to check the weather in the morning, and monitor throughout the day. 2/2

Radar encouraging. Storms have developed NW of us and will move north of Davidson Co. HRRR model thinks only a few rainers may develop for some of us before the main rain event occurs overnight NW of us and in KY. Not out of the woods yet but, yeah, encouraging. / 929 PM

Long weekend ahead. Storms tonight. Storms tomorrow. Now the HRRR likes the idea of snow Sunday afternoon - can't imagine any of it would stick to pavement, the ground is gonna be way too warm. So far I give 2022 0 stars out of 5.
