Who's going to sleep tonight? It's WHIT FRIDAY tomorrow!! Whit Walks in the morning and the Band Contests from 4 pm, with a record number of bands registered, including many from overseas. Hope you come and experience it all in Uppermill with our new stage.

We've presented our remaining trophy! On behalf of Foden's Andrew Howard Smith was finally able to receive our 3rd Prize "Abaco Coffee Cup" from Michael Frith, General Manager, Caffe Grand Abaco. Thanks also to The Waggon for sponsoring this prize money. Congratulations! 🎶

Before they flew back to Switzerland this afternoon we managed to present Emmental Brass Band with the Uppermill Co-op Shield for 1st Section Winners and John Broadbent was able to present his trophy for Deportment. A fitting end to a fabulous Whit Friday!

What a fabulous #WhitFriday. Thanks to all 50 bands who made the trip to Uppermill, we really appreciated your visit. Our winning band was Marsden, Chav Brass 2nd, Fodens 3rd & The Oldham Band (Lees) was 4th. We will be sorting out the other prize winners later.
