Did you know The Pantry at Family Place is FREE to all residents! Families can choose from fresh produce from our Urban Farm, meat, dairy, nonperishable goods, hygiene items, & more! Thank you to all who donate goods and help keep The Pantry organized through volunteer shifts🏠💙

We know progress is possible because supportive housing organizations helped rehouse 27,951 people in a single year – an all-time record for LA County’s homeless response system. Greater investment in affordable housing is the key to reducing homelessness!

Earlier this week, nine unhoused parents graduated from our CVS Pre Pharmacy Technician Program! We're so proud of you & what you’ve achieved! 🎓🥳 HUGE thank you to CVS Pharmacy, Thrive Causemetics, Rosti, Balloon Celebrations, volunteers, and UBH staff!

Why does CA have a homelessness crisis? Because a parent working a minimum wage job would have to work 104 hours a week to afford a 2-br apartment to house their family. #HomelessnessIsAPolicyChoice
