She delivered a keynote presentation on nursing leadership in the global health context and engaged with the leadership of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the School of Nursing at @WesternU on opportunities for strengthening collaboration.

Dean of the @ur_sonm Assoc Prof @BAZIRETEOliva at the @Uni_Rwanda, paid a visit to the @WesternU from May 11–15, 2026.

The outreach included anthropometric assessment of children under five years of age, and each child received one egg as nutritional support. @Uni_Rwanda @UCmhs

As part of the Nurses and Midwives Week celebrations held from 1–12 May 2026, the General Nursing Department at @UR_Huye @ur_sonm, in collaboration with @NMSAR_Huye, @NPO_TER, @RBCRwanda, and @HuyeDistrict, conducted a community outreach activity in Tumba Sector, Cyarwa Cell.

The @ur_sonm proudly hosted a two-day collaborative forum (4–5 May 2026) with our partners from @UUtah. We celebrated our PhD scholars, shared research projects feedback, and envisioned together a sustainable future for nursing education. @Ucmhs @Uni_Rwanda

He thanked in particular Duke University (USA), the Ministry of Health,ELMA, partner teaching hospitals, for the support they rendered to enable Rwandan faculty in the field of nursing benefit from the program and upgrade their skills.

The UR-VC welcomed pioneer graduands who recently accomplished their studies and qualified with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP which is a professional doctoral level degree). In his remarks, the VC thanked all partners who played a key role in making this happen.@Uni_Rwanda
