The meeting was attended by Dr. Charles Mudenge, Chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and Dr. Jean Pierre Gafaranga, Program Director of the Master of Medicine in Psychiatry Program. Discussions focused on exploring opportunities for future collaboration.

A fruitful meeting was held with Dr. Susmita Chandramouleeshwaran, Director of Global Health, Department of Psychiatry, University of Ottawa-Canada and Prof. Abraham Mitike, Principal of the UR-College of Medicine and Health Sciences. @Uni_Rwanda

They toured some of the dental laboratories to get a pedagogical demonstration experience on oral health and hygiene,this is part of the college’s mandate to inspire young generations to study science subjects well for their future careers. @Uni_Rwanda @Rayndikumana @Rwanda_Edu

UR-CMHS today received students from Ecole Sainte Anne based in Nyanza-Kicukiro.They visited the college for an inspirational field trip and to better understand the functioning and interconnectivity between the human physiology & develop responsible thinking related to health.

A team from Partners in Health was received by Prof. Abraham the Principal of @UCmhs together with a team from the @Ur_sonm.The meeting’s aim was to discuss collaboration on improving quality of care through PIH innovative programs,teaching and expertise.@PIHRwanda, @Uni_Rwanda

The UR-CMHS community was today represented by the Principal,Staff & Student representatives to commemorate the victims of the 1994 genocide that was committed against the Tutsi at Kiziguro memorial. We we also honored to be joined by the Vice Mayor @GatsiboDistrict @Uni_Rwanda

A new chapter for global health! Today, in partnership with @ughe_org, @INES_Ruhengeri, and @AarhusUni #Denmark, we officially launched the Global Health Hub in #Kigali through a strategic quadripartite partnership. This hub will serve as a powerful platform for advancing collaborative research, academic exchange, innovation, and policy engagement while strengthening health systems in Rwanda and beyond. By bringing together local and global expertise, the initiative positions Kigali as a growing center for knowledge, solutions, and impact in global health.
