We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

Trump got the truce he was seeking, and the rest of the world got the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. If the regime neither collapses nor accepts U.S. conditions, the war will probably resume, it’s only a pause. The real question is: why was this pause wanted by the US? Perhaps because, in the heat of the moment, the Iranians have not fully grasped the extent of the destruction of their military capabilities. The truce may give them the time and the clarity to realize it, and ultimately to fall back into line.

Is Trump really the madman who threatens to annihilate Iran, with a big stuffed rabbit next to him nodding its head? He issues ultimatum after ultimatum… then keeps pushing the deadlines back. What if he’s not that crazy after all? The Strait of Hormuz is not really his problem — or barely. It’s the world’s problem. If Iran is forced to appease other countries and let their tankers pass, that brings oil prices down. And Trump’s real issue is the price of oil, not the supply through the Strait of Hormuz. The United States is the world’s largest producer; it doesn’t need Gulf oil. By constantly delaying deadlines while promising a deal, he contains price spikes and prevents market panic. He may be crazy — but there’s a kind of genius in that madness. While Trump buys time by playing the markets, Israel and the United States are finishing the job in Iran. And when the war ends, there will be almost nothing left standing in Iran. And nearly all the leaders of the old regime will be dead.

To put things in perspective: Oil prices first moved sustainably above $100 in late 2007 and remained largely above that level until their peak in July 2008. They then collapsed amid the global financial crisis, plunging from around $147 in July to roughly $30–32 by December. We need to stop fixating on short-term inconveniences. The stakes in this war are far too high to push for a premature end without removing the threat posed by the Iranian regime and ending its malign influence on Lebanon.

Netanyahu is very action-oriented. In the past at critical juncture in the fight against Hamas and Hezbollah he will fly to Washington to meet Trump in the White House or address the US Congress or to appear in person at Fox News. You don't see Netanyahu doing that anymore. HE IS DEAD!

Technically, Iran has no legal basis to charge fees or close the Strait. Egypt's right to charge tolls for the Suez Canal is part of the 1888 Constantinople Convention, which also guarantees freedom of navigation for all nations. Egypt was granted ownership and sovereignty of the Suez Canal by the United Nations. The Strait of Hormuz is a natural international strait, not a man-made canal like the Suez. Under UN convention, all ships have an unconditional right of transit passage through the Strait. Most importantly, the Suez has an alternative - going around Africa, albeit a longer route. The Strait of Hormuz has limited alternatives, as we have quickly found out.
