Hey Dan, it took a while, but finally just had solar installed on the roof as the numbers finally worked. We took control of our electricity bill, helped the grid out and reduced our carbon footprint. We can add more in the future once we get an EV. (Still waiting on a practical affordable solution.) I do like the fact that we’ll soon have no electricity bill:)

As Ontario gets hotter and AC increases, much higher demands for electricity (and more gas increases our carbon emissions). Heat pumps would help (as well as lower emissions in winter).
