When I'm alone for too long I start to go crazy. My dick starts talking to me "Kill everyone, kill everyone..."

@LeonardvsXVII Look I get that you are Brazilian and you have no idea what you are talking about but yes Scandinavian folk clothing was very much immersed in religiousity and spirituality. Headcoverings like that were markers of marital status and modesty (hair out=erotic).

@Vivec_the_Poet @s1thempire Andor and Rogue One is about taking the myth out of Star Wars. And that's fine. That's a natural thing to do when you've exhausted the mythological aspect of the story twice.

@Urdtru @s1thempire I do not agree that Andor, or especially Rogue One "intentionally attack part of the mytho-poetic core of Lucas-Star Wars" by just being about something slightly adjacent to what the OT was about.

@Vivec_the_Poet @s1thempire Subversion in art is perfectly fine and valid. But sometimes it is abused by Abrahms-types who misunderstand the almost alchemical process of the act.

@Vivec_the_Poet @s1thempire Subversion is the correct way to describe Andor and Rogue One: as they intentionally attack at least part of the mytho-poetic core of Lucas-Star Wars. I suppose you could say it is like writing World War II from the "angle", as you say, of Polish, Italian, etc. partisans.

Dworkin's weight is one of the tragedies of her life. And no this is not because "she could have been hot" or something, but just that it was one of the ways in which she was actually subjugated and dehumanised and eventually killed by male power.

@Vivec_the_Poet @s1thempire Well a large degree of Star Wars was Lucas' unique autonomous direction style, (ever noticed how he flipped the meaning of colour between the originals and the prequels?) and Andor was like Rogue One an intential subversion of Lucas-Star Wars and so I think it works.

About the only fair criticism I've seen of Andor's visuals is that it (actually just some scenes) has washed out contrast and a bland teal colour palette... but this is just a general problem with things made in the past 10 or so years, and sometimes its clearly intentional to sell a mood. The idea that the set design or locations are inherently bad or "bland" is fucking stupid.
