@mazanbuu if the US government did even a fraction of what the IR does to women these people would lose their shit, but since it’s happening to Iranian women they don’t care

THIS!! And the Islamic Republic cannot take credit for all of these brilliant Iranian women being in STEM, anyway. The credit for that goes to those women themselves. We have always had some of the smartest and most brilliant, sophisticated people in the world throughout our history. This isn’t new or a product of the regime’s creation. This is Iranian ingenuity and excellence. The regime only serves to oppress and hold those women back from achieving their true potential. They are often slaughtered, raped, and tortured at young ages, having their lives cut short in the most brutal ways imaginable before they are able to accomplish anything with their potential. That, and opportunities in Iran have been scarce under the Islamic regime. You have taxi drivers in Tehran and other major cities with master’s degrees and PhDs, unable to find proper work in their fields. Our currency is also worthless. All thanks to the regime. That’s why Iran has experienced one of the highest levels of brain drain out of any country in the world. People like the person you responded to are willfully ignorant and intentionally deny the plight of Iranian women to further their twisted agenda. It’s purely propaganda meant to hide the regime’s crimes against humanity and is 100% anti-woman and anti-human. Anyone who has an iota of care for women’s rights and human rights would immediately stand against the Islamic Republic and all that it represents. Reducing the plight of Iranian women to merely “wanting to wear bikinis” is disgraceful, disgusting, and intentionally dishonest. The frauds are revealing themselves out in the open. May they keep exposing themselves so they can soon bring about their own ruin

What’s the point of having so many Iranian women in STEM when the Islamic regime will kill them and rape them for letting out their hair or expressing their opinions against the oppressive regime? Should intelligent women be silenced by radical Islamists?

All the Iranians in the diaspora who commented “we will rebuild it” on posts showing the destruction of infrastructure, businesses, cultural sites, and other damage from bombing that is not directly related to the IRGC: Your “we will rebuild it” comments never included a disclaimer such as “if Reza Pahlavi is in charge” or “if the Islamic Republic is completely overthrown.” So if that doesn’t happen in the coming months, I’ll expect you all to be applying for OFAC licenses from the U.S. Treasury Department so you can help pay for the rebuilding — and perhaps some of you will even fly to Iran to offer your labor!

@mikutisms they avoid leaving their house because police threaten/detain ppl who gather in groups in the streets personally haven’t been able to keep up with things much recently, but it doesn’t look like the US is stopping and the IR isn’t falling or giving up either unfortunately

🚨 "My family members have disappeared! I have no news of them." Despite receiving a hero’s welcome back home, clearly staged for optics, Iranian women’s national team captain Zahra Ghanbari has now revealed the truth. After applying for asylum in Australia, she withdrew her request following pressure from the Islamic Republic. Behind the scenes, her family was threatened. The team had made global headlines after players signaled for help and sought asylum. Some later reversed their decisions after their families in Iran were put under pressure. This confirms what many suspected: coercion, intimidation, and forced compliance.
