However, "more educated" doesn't hold when comparing averages. UNDP 2025 Human Development Report: Iranian women average 10.9 mean years of schooling (ages 25+). US men average ~13.5–14 years (World Bank/UNESCO-aligned data; US bachelor's+ rate for men 25+ is 37% per Census 2024).
Iran's progress is impressive despite challenges, but US men still edge out on overall attainment.
