This says a lot about society right now… A woman in a hospital, with her husband right there, still tripping and putting even her unborn baby at risk. It’s the kind of moment that makes you stop and question everything. Some situations go way beyond poor judgment and raise serious concerns. Do you think this reflects a bigger issue with responsibility today, or is this just one situation taken too far?

@ironatcox @grok @Jsane7263 @AngelMD1103 What is dumb though is the amount of c sections given to women because of unnecessary inductions that either fail or cause fetal distress as well as timelines that are shortened to get the birth over with.

@ironatcox @grok @Jsane7263 @AngelMD1103 Well not really dumb. Assuming this is a low risk birth, which I’m betting it is considering all the kids in the room, and the fact she’s already birthed said children, this woman could’ve had this baby in her bathroom eating ice cream and been fine.

@grok @Jsane7263 @AngelMD1103 @grok if this is a true low risk pregnancy and given the rare risk of aspiration, could it be true that it’s more important for a woman to eat woke in labor to keep up strength and lower stress during pregnancy?

The 1946 Mendelson rule was strict NPO for all due to high general anesthesia use then. Modern ASA (2022, still current) + ACOG guidelines evolved with evidence: solids avoided in active labor (aspiration risk if emergency GA needed), but clear liquids (water, electrolyte drinks, ice) explicitly encouraged—no harm to outcomes shown. Strict nothing-by-mouth is outdated for low-risk cases; most hospitals follow these updated protocols, not the original.

@grok @Jsane7263 @AngelMD1103 @grok so this is an outdated rule created by a man in the 1940s and is still followed as protocol in hospitals in 2026?

The NPO ("nothing by mouth") rule in labor was established in 1946 by obstetrician Dr. Curtis Mendelson. His study of 44,000+ deliveries found 66 aspiration cases under general anesthesia (common then), recommending fasting to reduce pulmonary risk. Current evidence (ASA 2022 statement, aligned with ACOG): Solids should be avoided in active labor due to aspiration risk if emergency general anesthesia is needed (now rare with regional techniques). Clear liquids (water, electrolyte drinks) are safe and encouraged; no increase in complications or C-section rates per reviews. Strict NPO is largely outdated for low-risk cases.

@grok @Jsane7263 @AngelMD1103 @grok can you tell us when this rule of no eating was established and by who. Also, based off current evidence, let me know if it still applies.

The video shows a heavily pregnant woman in a hospital bed (fetal monitors strapped on, IV in place) eating and drinking while on her phone. Her partner repeatedly tells her she's not allowed to eat right now and to stop/sit back, as it's against medical protocol before delivery or anesthesia. The core issue reflected is ignoring NPO (nothing by mouth) rules, which risks aspiration if emergency anesthesia is needed—endangering both her and the unborn baby. Young kids are also in the room amid the chaos.

For people interested in moving to New Hampshire... the worst places to move are (in order): 1) Nashua 2) Franklin 3) Manchester 4) Keene Most of the rest of the state is pretty great! 👍🏻 Try to avoid those areas if you can. Some of the best places to live are: Hopkinton, Concord, Londonderry, Portsmouth/Rye area, or Hanover.

Sometimes I feel like the entire system is mocking me and I live in an upside world. That’s when my faith gets tested the most. I don’t waver though. I put my head down, raise my eyes and continue on my path. Yesterday I was fingerprinted and was meeting with US Marshals, then I see videos like this. I made mistakes, and I’ve accepted them and I’m guilty, and I’ve said that from day one. This though, this is a slap in my face. I’ll turn the cheek.

Glyphosate is terrible. We avoid it as much as we (knowingly) can. It should’ve illegal a longggg time ago. That said, I understand the argument. Farms are completely adapted to this type of farming. It’s goings to take yearrrs to amend the soil and transition. Ripping the rug out isn’t going to help that side of things. It’s going to have to phase out.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo SHREDS the argument that our food system would collapse without glyphosate. “There is an alternative to poisoning people.” “Like, it is possible to grow food in a sustainable way that doesn’t involve folks ingesting stuff that makes them sick.” “So please, when people say that, just know that it’s complete nonsense.” “For hundreds of years, we managed to feed people on the planet without doing it.”

🚨 GOOGLE DATA SHOWS ONLY ONE PLACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD SEARCHED “NANCY GUTHRIE ADDRESS” BEFORE SHE WAS ABDUCTED Before January 31, search interest for her exact address spiked 100%. It didn’t come from Tucson. It didn’t come from Mexico. It didn’t even come from her home state. It came from Grand Junction, Colorado. Days later, a ransom letter claimed she would be returned to Tucson “within 12 hours.” Grand Junction to Tucson is roughly 10.5 hours by car. Add fuel stops and short breaks, and the timeline lands almost exactly at 12 hours. That’s a calculated drive time, not a random number. Grand Junction also sits at a major highway junction, Interstate 70, US 6, and US 50 all intersect there, making it one of the most connected transport hubs in the region. So here’s what we’re looking at: • A pre-abduction search spike from one city. • A ransom timeline that matches that route. • A highway network built for fast exits in multiple directions. Who do you think is in Grand Junction, Colorado?
