@UseCider What about releasing the code behind the widget? I know it's not a proper solution, but what if anyone could host it on their own, just like some cool widget that people have made

I don't enjoy ever making these posts, and honestly i shouldn't have to. The Discord Widget feature is now scrapped and will not be revisited, we've received so much group targeted hate and adversarial aggression over a misconception on a API that has all speculation surrounding it. We're sorry for the confusion and the unfortunate information, all posts have been removed.

Normalization 2.0 in the meantime is already finished! Loudness and LUFS is also shown in the developer API starting with 4.0.9.3 for specific songs. So if you're someone who likes to tune your stream audio you can now set your own noise target ceiling and floor.

For AutoMix 2.0, we're setting some pretty narrow expectations for ourselves. We've spent the last 3 days formulating everything needed to create a specialized client DSP to allow for phase vocoding, fft sampling, and proper mix analysis to ensure Cider can determine loop points entirely in WASM/Rust. Transitions are about to get a whole lot better, and we're pretty excited to share more information shortly.

@UseCider The "necessary hoops" are the fact that Discord does not allow to add any third party widgets and isn't planning on unblocking that again for a good while

One thing to note is that global 'enrollment' for this feature is still rolling out to some Discord accounts so you may not be able to do this yet. But once you are, it'll just show up right on your add widget panel.

Automix and Normalization are next up in the queue to be updated. Stay tuned!

Could I use a license that only allows: What the Licensor (sole exception on two fronts) can do Modify, update, and build new versions of the software, without restriction. Use the software to train or fine-tune AI/ML models, without restriction. Grant new or different rights to others in the future, at his own discretion. Distribute it himself however he chooses. What Cider (cider.sh) can do, and only this List and distribute unmodified copies on their official plugin marketplace. Only for free, no charge to end users. Nothing beyond that: no modifying, patching, bundling into a paid tier, or distributing outside their official marketplace. What a regular end user can do Download it from Cider's official marketplace. Install and run it personally, for free, inside Cider. What a regular end user cannot do Modify, fork, decompile, reverse-engineer, or build derivative works from it. Redistribute it in any form: share the file, mirror it, repost it, bundle it into something else. Use it for any commercial purpose, on behalf of a company, or as part of any paid or unpaid business offering, even completely unmodified. Use it, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune, or otherwise develop any AI/ML model or system. Sublicense or hand off their permission to anyone else. What no one except the Licensor can do Modify the software, under any circumstance. Use the software for AI/ML training, under any circumstance. What no one except Cider can do Distribute the software to others, and only under the free/unmodified/official-marketplace conditions above.

@leoparodo We just don't have anything to share, we can't control Microsoft's review so telling you the same thing is meaningless.

@UseCider At this point I think you're purposefully leading Microsoft users on, its been way more than a week since we've been supposed to have access to 4.0. You also keep ignoring any replies asking about it.
