Obscura is now live! Too many traders and protocols are asked to prove credibility by exposing trades, private data, strategies, or accounts. Over time, that erodes privacy and limits who can participate. Obscura introduces a privacy first reputation protocol for DeFi, powered by @thriveprotocol and @horizenglobal, that verifies trading performance without exposing sensitive information. Zero-knowledge proofs work through a simple dynamic: prover and verifier. The prover has private information and needs to prove a claim about it. The verifier needs to confirm the claim is true without seeing the private information. The prover generates cryptographic proof using their private data. The verifier checks the proof mathematically. The result is binary: true or false. The private data never gets revealed. In practice: You can prove you meet certain criteria—profitability, consistency, specific thresholds—without exposing the underlying data that demonstrates those criteria. Verification without exposure. That's zero-knowledge.
