One of the biggest changes we made to SassyPack wasn't a new feature. It was moving from React to Next.js. The reason wasn't performance. It was crawlability.

But for SassyPack, Next.js made more sense. Sometimes the biggest improvements aren't adding something new. They're choosing the right foundation.

Search engines are much better at discovering and indexing content that's rendered on the server or generated statically. For a product that relies on content marketing and SEO, that matters. React is still a great choice for many applications.
