It is interesting because Editorial seems to think Spidey is about youth fundamentally, and yes, coming of age is a very big part and youth/growing up is central, but I’d argue it’s about Responsibility at its core, and how it changes as you grow

A few interesting things on these pages, Goku’s new costume in RoF is supposed to evoke his older days and be evidence of his fighting spirit returning to basics and reinvigorating his devotion to training. The boots are purposely supposed to look like Future Trunks’s. It also says that Vegeta’s new costume is supposed to reflect a change in his mindset after his battle with Beerus, it also talks about how Vegeta subconsciously considers himself the strongest and their fore has no master despite Whis’s marking on his chest.

It’s funny to think Gwen death and the bridge have been referenced so many times that in the 2000’s Peter David just decided to make it so Peter just wasn’t phased by it anymore.

Post retirement he’d be a teacher who does a lot of community out reach and helps people from time to time without being seen while Ben takes over as the traditional Spider-Man with it being up for debate for a lot of people if this is the same guy or not

In my mind Peter would have about a decade long career before the clone saga which would end his traditional hero career as he largely retires to raise his child while Ben takes over the Mantle as he begins to find a life of his own
