Christians are notorious for giving backlash to even the mildest criticism or portrayal of Christianity if it strays from objective praise this isn’t a new concept. These are the same people who initiated like 25 satanic panics in the 90s cuz they couldn’t think critically at all

Also correct me for this but when Life of Brian came out Christians didn't go off their rockers and call John Cleese a "Christophobe" Muslims need to learn that mockery, criticism and questions or comments they don't like are part of living in the West. They're not special. They're just one group with one ideology that is as open to scrutiny, mockery and scrutiny as any other.

I went to see Life of Brian with my dad when it came out. We couldn't go to see it at our local cinema in Preston because it was banned so had to travel to Southport and there were Christians outside marching up and down the street trying to persuade people not to go in.

@TomTaylorMade Both of these women have fought with Lady Shiva multiple times, AKA one of them deadliest martial artists in the DC universe. Lady Shiva is also well-known to outrank Bruce as a martial artists. Plus they're only using boxing, which was Wildcat's specialty.

i've always seen batman as the quarterback of superheroes. he's not the fastest, that's the WRs. he's not the most elusive, that'll be the RBs. he sure as hell isn't the strongest. but, goddammit, when you need someone to come up with a winning play, you look to the QB.

Dinah Lance Lady Shiva Cassandra Cain Richard Dragon Bronze Tiger Are all better in hand to hand combat than Bruce is. Bruce isn't top 5, but that doesn't diminish his character, just because he doesn't fit into your power fantasy narrative.

Dude Dinah is way better than Batman in hand to hand combat. So is Cassandra Cain. Bruce himself has said so. Batman doesn't have to be the best at everything. Making him exceptional at everything makes reading his books boring because he's always just winning

It’s funny how frequently some parts of the comics internet openly accuse creators of not loving the characters. Our work largely consumes our lives. We spend hours and hours a week, for months on end, working with the same characters. It would be torture if we hated them.
