@AvantiWestCoast Yvonne and Rosni at Crewe we’re fantastic! Getting me (a wheelchair user) onto a very busy delayed Liverpool lime street train with the races on! Dealt with the crowd and the platform alteration with ease. Deserve recognition for how they managed it!

So today we had a little get together 🥳 Julie our DSN lead who has worked @UHNM_NHS 25 years 🦖is retiring but........ She's coming back 2 days/week Sarah our other longstanding DSN has been with the team nearly 22 years is also reducing her hours 😭 #parttimers #endofanera

UHNM - SGLT2 inhibitors (‘flozins’) ⬆️ risk of DKA if pt is acutely unwell or undergoing major surgery. Monitor daily blood ketones during this time & stop this medication. Restart when ketones are normal & condition has stabilised @teamqualityuhnm @TeamSurgeryUHNM
