@SyedRaz18966655 @mak_asif At first glance, it appeared to me so, but after it was pointed out, I think it's Sajid Ali.

@BasitSubhani One does understand learning from international players, but no foreign coach made the likes of Javed Miandad, Saeed Anwer, Inzimam, and Waqar Younus. Our domestic system produced them. All this talk of groomed players is poppycock. Just groom their game. The rest will follow.
English

Spoke regarding what Pakistan cricket can learn from Australian mindset in this PSL. Massive learning curve for young Pakistani cricketers by playing beside Smith, Marnus and Maxwell.
Pakistan cricket has to look beyond so called superstars. Pakistan has to look up to groomed players like Shan Masood and Salman Ali Agha instead of uneducated players. Time for an overhaul in true spirit.

Ghamdi Saab is a religious scolar of note. His understanding of history and politics leaves a lot to be desired. It would benefit all if the interviewers got him to share his knowledge of religion, of which he is an expert.

Here for Pak liberals cancelling Ghamidi... (Ghamidi speaks the truth on post-revolution Iran...)

I recognise her but won't name her out of contempt for what she stood for and what she spawned.

What does "I stand with Israel" really mean???
"I stand with bombing children"
"I stand with shooting children in the head"
"I stand with starving people to death"
"I stand with burning people alive in tents"
"I stand with bombing hospitals"
"I stand with targeting humanitarian workers"
"I stand with targeting journalists"
"I stand with kidnapping and killing doctors"
"I stand with stealing peoples homes"
"I stand with detaining and raping children"
"I stand with decapitating babies"

READ: There is compelling evidence that the Israeli military killed Lebanese reporter Amal Khalil. Why is the U.S. media ignoring the story?
mondoweiss.net/2026/04/the-ma…
English

@Mondoweiss @DalrympleWill I think by now, we know why the US media has ignored this story and the similar ones. However, what we can do is raise these stories again and again until the time comes when the mainstream media is compelled to cover it or lose existence.

@DrNaumanNiaz The boy has immense talent. If nurtured properly, he will be the mainstay of Indian cricket in the years to come. How will he fare at the international level? Only time will tell when he plays in challenging conditions. However, no amount of verbosity will elevate his status.

I was the first one to produce a detailed thread on Vaibhav Sooriyavanshi’s exceptional talent & batting method on April 16th.
Recently, I spoke of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Extraordinary, unfathomable, almost defying the natural order at sixteen. His ascent, swift, electric has left the casual observer blinking, bewildered.
Self-belief, the arc of the bat, hands and wrists that move with uncanny precision, a foundation as solid as bedrock, power that belies the tender years of adolescence… at an age when muscle mass is still developing, his shoulders carry the weight of intent.
He faces the fiercest bowlers, Cummins, Bumrah, Archer, Hazlewood, not with apprehension, but with a calm that rattles the very structure of expectation.
There is a vow-like intensity to him, a clarity of mind that renders ordinary mortals astonished. I have watched and chronicled cricketing giants, Viv Richards, Sachin, Lara, Inzamam, Ponting, AB, Rohit, Kohli, each with a peculiar, defining trait.
Some, like Jaiswal or Shaw, endured the burden of promise unevenly. But Vaibhav… he surpasses imagination, a generational talent so luminous that my words stumbled, and I dared to say: get him tested. Surely, he must be AI-made, not human.
And yet, predictably, the world did what it does best. Words twisted. Facts severed from context. Sensationalism draped over irrelevance like a cloak.
Fans, some even from India, took snippets and darned narratives of doubt. Credible publications, in their haste for clicks, echoed the misinterpretation.
This must end. There is a beauty in responsibility, in letting talent speak without the clamor of distortion. Let us watch, let us marvel, and let us, at least, refrain from maiming what is pure. A praise turned into controversy is regrettable.

@BhuttoZulfikar The prisons are the hotbed of HIV infection. Screening of all inmates must be made mandatory.

@BhuttoZulfikar It's beyond negligence. Every newborn child is considered the greatest blessing for a household. The mother cradles the baby in her womb for 9 months, and the father provides for both by toiling ever harder. Those who took their happiness away should be held accountable.
