When a criminal remaining alive is likely to lead to the deaths of thousands of innocent people, decent people may feel relief or even celebrate that person’s death because they believe it helps protect others. The world celebrated Hitler’s demise, and now many people are celebrating the deaths of Graham and Khamenei.
