Good morning 🌄 My Redsss ❣️ If you carefully watched our 2-2 draw against Bournemouth, you'll agree with me that the referee and VAR decisions were the biggest talking points of the night. It felt like we were fighting against two opponents at times because the consistency just wasn't there. The main frustration comes from two nearly identical moments. Earlier in the second half, Amad Diallowas clearly pulled down in the box by a defender using two hands. It looked like a textbook penalty, but the referee, Stuart Attwell, waved it away and VAR didn't step in. To make it worse, Bournemouth went straight down the other end and scored their first goal while our players were still protesting. Then, later in the game, Harry Maguire was judged to have done the exact same thing to their striker. This time, the referee didn't hesitate, he gave the penalty and showed Maguire a straight red card. Michael Carrick was fuming after the game, calling the decisions "crazy" and "baffling" because if one is a foul, the other has to be too. Senne Lammens was a hero again with some important saves, and Bruno Fernandes showed his class by scoring his penalty with total composure. We even took the lead again thanks to an own goal, but the red card changed everything. Playing with ten men for the final fifteen minutes was a big struggle, but the boys showed real heart to hold onto the point. It’s a tough result to take because of the officiating, but staying in 3rd place after such a chaotic game shows we are still moving in the right direction. ❤️🙏🏻✌🏻👹 #MUFC #Twitter @geraintfrazer20 @1957eddie @vincentmelinn @Roli_Mufc @suky01 @SteveMUFC1962 @graham_pitt @manufcnow @Indinlily @peterbroggs @DAVIDMUGGLE1 @MUFCLinus @GillianYorke1 @AkashPaul4 @DNyeko @jamesaltham4 @javedjalal42 @ronak_manutd
