@Utdyon_ I do agree to an extent, 14 games is starting to become a good sample size, I think there are quality issues still and a few tweaks to see the full potential but that sustainable football doesn't remain the exact same for very long Interesting to see where it goes

@midfield227 The reason why Liverpool could score their second goal They did this press and were aggressive on Lammens Manioo didn't drop providing a pass option even when it was a 2 v 1 in the middle. Lammens should have recognized this and went long. Top analysis, i enjoy your content

That’s exactly what Ruben Amorim was trying to change. He was building a Manchester United team that would dominate games, not one that sits back and waits for moments in transition. He said it repeatedly - the goal was to control matches, control the ball, and impose ourselves on opponents. But this squad has been conditioned for years to play counter-attacking and transition football. Changing that mentality was never going to be easy. People act like Amorim didn’t know how to grind out results. Of course he did. He’s not stupid. He simply refused to sacrifice the long-term identity of the team just to survive week to week. He wanted United to play like Manchester United again - taking the game to opponents, not behaving like underdogs.

At Manchester United now it’s just about winning even if you sit at the back for midtable clubs to dominate you for 90 minutes 😭😭

Amorim had this players thinking on the pitch. had them calm, looking for spaces to exploit, flexible front 3 and that width It was still raw but there was improvement, the result didn't show because of players lack of proper execution and not having the right players profiles.
Michael@commissionase

Controlled passing ✔️ Elite ball progression ✔️ Positioning ✔️ Pressing and intensity ✔️ No. 10s operating in half spaces ✔️ Overloaded attack✔️ Flying wingbacks ✔️ Ladies and gentlemen, Amorim ball was the real deal..

There are some section of the United fanbase that believes Kobbie Mainoo is a better midfielder than Mason Mount. You are beyond redemption if you believe that because there’s nothing in midfield that Mainoo does better than Mount.

This is not what you thought it was. Lammens needs to improve but not from what you said. He needs to work on reading the ball and using more footwork. he needs to some footwork before diving to cover space. Reading the ball will help him overtime he will develop it.
Noush 🧠 | MUFC@NoushardMUFC

The uncomfortable conversations about Lammens have finally arrived. Let me be clear about what I value in a goalkeeper. My ideal profile is the one who wins Man of the Match when his team is under siege. The De Gea type. The Van der Sar type. The goalkeeper who rescues points, not just participates in games. Lammens is young, physically strong, and mentally confident. He has the character to become a top goalkeeper. The data supports that. He has prevented the most goals in the league. But here is the part people keep avoiding. He also has the fewest clean sheets among the top ten teams. He concedes one or two goals almost every game. Even when we score freely, he still gives goals away. Five saves mean nothing if you concede twice. Proportion matters. End product matters. If the defense is weak, then the goalkeeper must compensate. That means commanding the back line, organizing spacing, and improving starting positions. Positioning is not optional at this level. Yes, he is in a new league. Yes, he has done well overall. But mistakes must be called out. Osula’s shot was saveable. A committed dive changes that moment. The hesitation did not. These are patterns, not isolated incidents. At times, he slips into the same habits we criticized in Onana, and we have been hesitant to say it because he is new. That grace period is ending. Comfort is creeping in. He knows there is no real competition right now. That will change. Goalkeepers on loan will return. Competition is coming whether he likes it or not. And this is why I want Onana to stay beyond the summer. Take the criticism. Sit in it. Fight through it, just like Maguire did. Then push Lammens every single day in training. No guaranteed number one. No comfort zones. Lammens has talent. But talent without authority is incomplete. It is time for him to step up.

Sesko will press! Mbuemo needs to sit on the bench for Amad. Mubemo as a 9 struggles... I know you're looking for that flexibility but sesko is very flexible too. We need that Amad and sesko connection too. Amad needs space on the wings and sesko movement provides that
@cantonadevils@Cantonadevils

Staring Sesko tomorrow against Newcastle would invite a lot of pressure on us and Sesko isn’t a pressing machine like Mbeumo. Mbeumo and Amad should start the game tomorrow thereby forcing or pinning Newcastle leftback and winger backwards. Just like we did Manchester City and Arsenal. Sesko can come in as a super sub in the second half.
