While in college, I find myself drawn more towards doing things to get myself a job (and I'm in an Indian clg, so here job = DSA), and the focus shifts largely away from my purpose of being a good engineer. Does anyone have any tips to keep myself more engineering oriented?

Day 18: - Completed my X UI Clone, using Inter font (instead of Twitter Chirp, which is not available for personal use). - The clone doesn't look that good, but it's a process, I'll improve. Here's a comparison of the original vs my clone:

I am really really fking proud of myself for finishing this on time... But will be switching over to ML/DL tomorrow onwards; I will take a couple days to catch up with what I previously learnt, and with my clg studies, and be back around 17 Aug with DL updates.

Day 10/11: - Made the sidebar, and added the tooltips and gave the final UI touches to the website. - Everything relating to UI is done, but there remain some bugs with regards to responsiveness and resizing of the screen. Will do that within the next few days before moving on.

@SuperSimpleDev Had recurring fever and weakness for the last 5 days, so couldn't get any studying done. Will resume coding/learning today

@SuperSimpleDev Day 8/9: - Day 8 I built the entire sidebar, and learnt about CSS positions (fixed, absolute and relative) - Day 9: Nothing, I fell ill as the day progressed and so by the night (when I work on this), I couldn't do anything. Will prolly complete the YT clone within 3-4 days.

Let's un-unalive this acc. Haven't posted on here because my entire thread is filled with cracked ppl my age doing cool shit and me feeling inadequate, so let's remedy that. I'm learning full stack right now, starting from HTML CSS. Will post my progress in this thread daily

Don't imitate qualities of your heroes at random. Some are flaws they succeeded despite. The qualities that are easiest to imitate are the most likely to be the flaws.

I just had my first bday w/o any kind of big celebration with family or friends, and away from my family. It sucks hard tbh, but it's a good reminder that we are alone in this world and are not dependent on anyone for anything and no one owes us anything and vice versa
