I am so sad. I hosted a movie night and no one showed up. So I just canceled partial way through. I sometimes feel so discouraged to hold events and stuff. My mind makes me think people are tired of spending time with me which is why I don't ever reach out to people.

i understand trip sup not being a big thing in ranked (according to the stats they provided) but in qp its game after game after game and its literally making the game not fun. My own teams just insta lock trip sup half the time before the game even starts im tired of it

My tips: Find 2-3 friends to be in discord and hang out it makes conversations more natural even if it chat is quiet there's still people to talk to (might even get fun clips!). Find a topic your passionate about and talk about that why it's important to you what you like dislike about it etc, scroll twitter for topics to discuss (we talked about toxicity in vtubing last month based off twitter topics), Read "am I the asshole" reddit posts and give your opinion/reaction. Tell a funny/crazy story or share an experience you had both online or irl. Talk about your day, upcoming plans, content ideas, changes you want to make, goals you have and how you want to reach them. It all boils down to just find things to talk about and getting into the rhythm of talking just to talk regardless of who is there. The more natural it becomes the more people will be inclined to participate vs silence :) I'm no expert but all these things are what made it easier to do chatting streams even if my chat is quiet. I also started doing chatting portions at the beginning of every stream for like 30mins-1hr so that it becomes a consistent routine for myself and chat. Good luck 🫶🏼

I'm in a family group chat, and they asked where I streamed, and I panicked and told them. Then they asked what my username was and mentioned my old name wondering if it was still that account. I panicked even more and told them this name, and now they know I'm a vtuber
