The hook stores a ring buffer of the last N swaps: (tick_before, tick_after, timestamp). On every beforeSwap it walks the buffer, computes velocity, and feeds it into a sigmoid curve: fee(v) = fee_min + (fee_max − fee_min) · σ(k·(v − v₀)) Smooth. No jumps. No governance. Pure math.
