For many years, the final day of the #PremierLeague season has always meant something special to me. I’ve been fortunate enough to live so much of this journey from inside the stadiums to witness unforgettable moments, hear the atmosphere before kick-off, feel the emotions after the final whistle, and share it all with you. Today feels different! For the first time in 13 years, I won’t be there. And I won’t pretend this one isn’t difficult. I also feel I owe people an explanation. My absence from many Premier League rounds this season has been completely beyond my control, and for reasons unrelated to football itself or the work I’ve proudly done over the past years. For now, I’ll leave it here. One of the difficult realities of the world we live in today is that speaking openly about what you believe in can sometimes cost more than you ever imagined. To everyone who looked for me, supported me, argued with me, laughed with me, and shared this journey with me THANK YOU. I wasn’t given the chance to say goodbye to this season in the way I had hoped. But football taught me something a long time ago: The final whistle doesn’t always mean the story is over.
