Maybe some of you’d be surprised to learn that there are some Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing people who prefer speaking instead of sign language! Some of them might have grown up speaking, even with their hearing aids or cochlear implants on. (1/2)

1. Take sign language class at a community college in your area. 2. Go to deaf clubs and/or social events where you can meet Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing. There are also Youtube videos and ASL apps where you can learn sign language, but sometimes they may not be very accurate. (2/3)

NRSC provides training in STEM for students who are Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing and also provides initiatives in cybersecurity, robotics, and coding. They are supported by the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind (AIDB) and the National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID). (3/3)
