Even simple things like agent borders, badges, or small cosmetic unlocks would make grinding specific agents feel rewarding. Imagine seeing someone with a Lvl120 Jett or Lvl85 Vyse on agent select. It instantly creates identity and something meaningful to grind for besides rank.

#Valorant needs an Agent Leveling/Mastery system like every hero-shooter game. A progression system with agent levels, badges, profile showcases and cosmetic rewards would give players more identity, long-term motivation and reasons to keep playing even outside ranked. Examples:

@astrodid Among hero shooters Valorant's lore is the slowest-paced. I'm pretty sure this is because they lack a plan. Each new character is like someone randomly picked up off the street.

@ScraftMike @VALORANT Actually, they're not "huge" at all. These are just basic things that should be done in a single season update. But instead they chose to spread these updates out over eight months.

NEW RANKED REWARDS CONFIRMED FOR DAY 1 IN 2027 #VALORANT If the rewards are just name cards and titles instead of new content, weapon skins, or something extraordinary, then I think we should stop playing ranked in protest.

When will Riot stop promoting buffs and nerfs as if they were new content? Everything listed here could be done in a single seasonal update. Spreading even these small changes over eight months is simply laziness. Where's Map Vote? Events? Free Rewards? Actual Innovations?

@VALORANT This is a really empty Roadmap Riot. Buffs and nerfs aren't exciting new feature they're just adjustments. Furthermore even if game modes are fun, many players have no reason to play them if you don't offer some free rewards for playing. I hope these aren't all you guys planned.
