@VAOAWP recently recommended disciplinary action against two VA senior leaders based on findings of misconduct. Since 9/2019, OAWP made 18 recommendations for disciplinary action and 5 recommendations for non-disciplinary action against VA senior leaders and supervisors.

@VAOAWP receives and investigates allegations of misconduct and poor performance against VA senior leaders & allegations of whistleblower retaliation against VA supervisors.

@VAOAWP has issued disciplinary action recommendations against several @DeptVetAffairs senior leaders and supervisors for misconduct, including discrimination and whistleblower retaliation.

@VAOAWP also developed and delivered mandatory whistleblower rights and protections training taken by more than 96,000 @DeptVetAffairs employees.

We have substantially improved @VAOAWP investigations by establishing standard operating procedures for investigations and establishing a quality division to ensure investigations are conducted in a thorough and unbiased manner.

We have improved communication with whistleblowers and other stakeholders and will use this Twitter page to regularly update the public on how we are improving accountability in @DeptVetAffairs.

We have made significant improvements to @VAOAWP operations over the last 18 months. We are committed to delivering on the promise made by @POTUS and @SecWilkie to improve accountability in @DeptVetAffairs.
