Open-sourcing TripoSplat - the first 3D Gaussian generator that learns to smartly allocate Gaussians from data and supports outputting an arbitrary number of Gaussians. The technique behind it, Density-Sampled Gaussians (DeG), has been accepted to @siggraph 2026.

One more thing ... It turns out TripoSplat works incredibly well on stylized images! Our in-house artists had a little fun and fed in some Chinese ink wash paintings. The Gaussians naturally adapted to capture the flowing, expressive strokes of ink art. Stunning results!
