People who were scoffing at the Maguire contract extension are crazy. He would have bodied and packed DCL. I don’t think we lose if Harry and Kobbie were playing this game . We were the worst team in the first half no doubt about that. #MUFC

A lot of critics for the 1st half performance. We had full control of the half and top creation just lacked the final run or final attack. Bruno ran the show the 2nd half give him the Player of the year already. #mufc #MUNAVL

Pathetic performance and even with that we should have won. Casemiro and Mainoo were getting bullied out there Mainoo should do more was very poor. Malacia don’t know what he was doing Newcastle were too fast too strong for us #MUFC

The second half was so much better even before the red card. Part of it is because I feel like players were playing in their positions and holding width made life easier.Simple switch from first half. #MUNCRY

I don’t know man but Cunha roaming around is a big problem for our attack if affects the build up and also our defence, stops Bruno and also Sesko as well. He needs to stick to his position and help in the attack. #MUNCRY

Just watched the Everton game. I genuinely feel we controlled the majority of 1st half and switched off a bit on the 2nd. We created good moments and progressed to the final 3rd where our execution let us down. Btw why is Carrick getting heat for winning a tough away game? #MUFC

Ppl blaming Carrick are crazy. There is this notion that every team we face we should play highlight reels stuff. That’s impossible to do. You dominate and win games in phases and we do that. To think if Enrique comes we will just walk through teams is just crazy. #MUFC

One thing I did observe is when Cunha place on the left and drifts Bryan does not take his place and maintain the width always. It would be useful to stretch Fulham defence if we did that or tell Bryan to swap as soon as Cunha roams. #MUFC

People saying our performance was poor should realise we created some really good chances. We press and when opponents can break the press it’s difficult to look good but we defended really well and controlled the game quite well. #mufc
