DAY 2 ST LEGER SELECTION REASONING 👇

Arqoob Quite an open race and can make a case for a few horses, however we’ve sided with Arqoob. Winner last time out with the addition of blinkers which he wears today. Top jockey in Tom Marquand on board today and won convincingly last time out so hoping he can overcome the 5lb rise today Hankelow Winner last time out at York, with the form being boosted by 2nd place that day Crest Of Fire who managed to finish 2nd yesterday at Doncaster. Karl Burke is a top trainer for 2 year olds and has also been in good form recently and will be hoping to add another winner today Havana Hurricane I think this horse has been slightly overlooked in the market with a few unfortunate runs. This horse has bags of speed and the drop back to 5f is going to suit with a record of 211 at the distance Hipop De Loire I’ve decided not to pick an outright winner here as it’s a tricky race, I can see Sweet William winning however the odds aren’t good value for this race. Instead I’ve picked Hipop De Loire to finish in the top 3 at around 4/5 odds. The reasoning behind this is that Willie Mullins has entered this horse in the Melbourne Cup and in order to qualify Hipop De Loire needs to finish in the top 3 Cape Flora A horse from my tracker, winner last time out at York and won quite nicely. William Buick on board today who is a class jockey and runs for the Gosdens who he has rode 53 horses for this year, winning 14 and placing in 9. Leading Dancer Tricky race as a lot of newcomers so isn’t a lot to go off. However, we’ve sided with Leading Dancer who is from Starman, with a lot of his foals running well first time out. Also runs for trainer Karl Burke who has a great record with 2 year olds Kinnalargy I think a line can be put through its last run and now drops back to handicap class. Has decent form from its run at Thirsk when finishing 3rd to Lifeplan who has gone on to win since and has a rating of 111 Bob Mali Back down to its last winning rating of 84. Recent runs he’s been finishing out the back of the telly, however last time out managed to finish a strong 5th which shows this horse is ready for another big run. Nice each way bet
