@BFNCPA @DrFrankTurek If it is real, then wouldn’t Jesus have to had his reason to leave us this? Possibly for the doubting Thomas’ of the world. Yes, blessed are those who believe w/o seeing, but are those who need a push damned? If it is real, then it is a gift from our Lord, so maybe care a little.

@DrFrankTurek I really don't care if it is or isn't. My faith is in Him, not a piece of cloth.

@oliverburdick This is not the gotcha you think it is. First, seek to understand.

@Defensofidei @UcheMaryOkoli In persona Christi - I think Christ would have done the same. You’re probably correct in your purely legalistic view, but in the moment he exerted the type of love Christ calls us to.

Is the action taken by this bishop considered inappropriate?
This situation is inappropriate. Yes, the Bishop is wrong, and here’s why:
It is not suitable for a Catholic Cleric to engage in sports/play of any kind while fully vested, as liturgical vestments like the chasuble and stole are sacred symbols set apart for divine worship, not for secular use.
Canon Law 1171 emphasizes the need for reverence toward sacred objects, and wearing them during sports risks causing scandal. It diminishes the significance of acting in persona Christi and treats the holy as common.
While a priest may wear a cassock or clerical attire during recreation, vestments should be removed after Mass before engaging in any physical activity the sacred belongs at the altar.

@DanSherwood088 @MattWalshBlog Nice choice of words. The truth is you’re not defending starving kids, you’re defending a corrupt government program fraught with fraud because it makes you feel like you’re supporting starving kids. If you think Matt doesn’t care about starving kids—you’re willfully ignorant.

@DanSherwood088 @MattWalshBlog How/where did he applaud it? Please backup your statement.

This story is horrifying. It's also a direct result of the legalization of gay "marriage." If you're willing to pretend that two men can be married then there's no reason to object to the equally grotesque farce of two men pretending to be parents.
Right Angle News Network@Rightanglenews
The gay Nashville couple who purchased a 6-week-old baby boy are continuing their mockery of the child in a new video, calling the baby “homophobic” for making a face when one of the men tells the baby he has two dads and even agreeing with commenters that they should “throw it away.”

@LauraLoomer Didn’t she convert after getting married? Your question about being a devout Catholic for actions prior to become Catholic seem to be made in bad faith.
English

Candace Owens was living with a man named Ryan who she was dating for 7 years when she came home one day and told him she was engaged to George Farmer.
How is she a devout Catholic?
2 weeks before she was engaged to George Farmer, she was living in Philadelphia with Ryan and her cat. She was planning to marry Ryan. Then she met George and 2 weeks later, she was engaged to him because he had more money than Ryan.
Don’t let her tell you she’s some devout Catholic.
She’s for the streets.
Ryan was her Republican boyfriend who “converted her” from Democrat to Republican by helping her make videos under the username RedpillBlack.
How do I know? Because Candace invited me to dinner with her and Ryan in Connecticut multiple times in 2017.
She is a social climber and will say and do anything for money and fame, including abandon a man she spent 7 years with for a lady like Brit with a trust fund and rich daddy.
Isn’t that right, @TheLordFarmer?
Please tell us why you don’t follow your daughter in law on X.

@pprussel14 @DavidFischer @grok How do you know he wasn’t talking about dad’s and was talking about Catholics? How did you know that’s what he meant?
English

@DavidFischer @grok Jesus literally says Call no man Father.. because you have only 1 in heaven.. he wasnt talking about dad's.. it was a direct warning about Catholics lol
English

Hey @grok, list all the Bible verses that support the Pope having any spiritual authority. If there are none, say none.

🚨 MIND-BLOWING: Is the “Harlot of Babylon” in Revelation the Roman Catholic Church… and the False Prophet the Pope? 🔥
Many of the greatest Reformers — Luther, Calvin, and others — saw this exact match in Scripture. Here’s the theology straight from the Word (no spin, just facts):
Revelation 17 describes the Harlot:
- She sits on “seven mountains” (v.9) → Rome, the city famously built on 7 hills. Vatican City is literally there.
- Dressed in “purple and scarlet” with a golden cup full of abominations (v.4) → The exact colors of Catholic cardinals and bishops. The golden chalice is used in every Mass.
- “Drunk with the blood of the saints” (v.6) → History records centuries of persecution against Bible-believing Christians.
- She “fornicates with the kings of the earth” and reigns over them (v.2, 18) → Centuries of church-state alliances and political power.
- Called “Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of Harlots” (v.5) → Seen as the “mother church” that birthed many compromised daughters.
Revelation 13 — the False Prophet (second beast):
- Looks like a lamb but speaks like a dragon (v.11).
- Performs signs, deceives the world into false worship, and enforces the mark.
- Many historicists tie this to the papal system — a religious figure claiming authority equal to (or above) Christ’s.
This is the historicist view of prophecy: Revelation unfolding through church history, not just the future or the distant past. The Reformers didn’t invent it — they saw the Bible interpreting itself.
Revelation 18:4 still cries out today:
“Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her plagues.”
