My wife came home from the nursery run this morning to find our house fully covered in scaffolding. They’d got the wrong house. All very 2020. At least the scaffolder saw the funny side. Definitely getting paid by the hour.

So just had a CT Scan. All came a bit out of the blue, only had 15 minutes to down ‘The Drink’ 🤢. Plenty riding on this. Not much time for scanxiety. Will have the report back tomorrow at the latest. Could be a long night. 😬

About an hour left. Almost didn’t happen but Doc has decided to prop up my platelets with steroids & the odd transfusion. Like putting scaffolding on a crumbling building. Only it’s scaffolding that keeps you awake awake & makes your face look fat. #Chemo #LivingwithCancer

Dietician is all over me like a cheap suit. Low fibre foods & fortisip for now. Just been told I’m now about 90% match fit so we’re busting out the chemo tomorrow. Crazy how happy I am about what will be a really shitty day! Wish me luck please people. 2/2 ✌🏼💛💚

I’ve been holed up at The Christie since last Weds due to another mystery infection. Missed my last chemo. Had to have my port removed as it was blocked solid and prob the source. Been getting grief with my ascites too. Belly is like a concrete beach ball. 1/2

This morning was testing - had to call for Oxy from the shower room 🙈 much more settled now. Mentally I'm still with it. Keep praying for me 🙏
