Today was a landmark day for Pakistan and for the country’s digital future. Formalizing the wins of the historical spectrum auction held on March 10th, Pakistan held the signing ceremony for the new spectrum licenses. With 480 MHz awarded in a single auction and total spectrum availability now at 754 MHz, Pakistan now moves from spectrum scarcity to spectrum readiness. We are honored to have our digital operator Jazz lead the way for better 4G today and 5G tomorrow - Jazz’s commitment is VEON’s commitment to the tens of millions of Pakistanis we proudly serve. Today we announced a series of upcoming senior executive appointments aimed at strengthening organizational capabilities and positioning VEON for further growth. 📣 Evgeniy Nastradin will be appointed as CEO of Beeline Uzbekistan, bringing more than a decade of leadership experience within VEON and a strong track record of operational growth, and digital business expansion. 📣 Jabbor Kayumov will be appointed CEO of Beeline Kazakhstan, with nearly two decades of international leadership experience spanning strategic transformation, commercial growth, organizational development, and digital innovation. 📣 Andrey Pyatakhin, who successfully led Beeline Uzbekistan from the fourth quarter of 2024, will continue to serve Beeline Uzbekistan as the COO. 📣 Ahmet Kayhan will join VEON HQ as Chief Payments & Digital Assets Officer, assuming a key leadership position and bringing extensive expertise in scaling digital ecosystems, strategic development and M&A, as we accelerate our ambition in financial services. The appointments, which are effective from April 1, 2026 and subject to the completion of relevant corporate and regulatory approvals, underscore our strategic focus on digital innovation, and positioning the company for further growth.
