@fooliesurfin I just had this discussion with a friend, tbh I feel like not having an identity frees you to create and experiment more, and the thing that matters fr is just setting up that high standard for yourself, meaning do whatever - but do it in excellence, make excellence your identity

do your own thing and watch the demand for your work create itself. if you start doing what other people are doing you’ll begin to lose your identity.

Question for my music producer friends out there:
my 2019 intel MacBook is a literal hell to work with as the fan noise is extremely loud. So, what do you recommend?
- buy the new M1 model? any experiences with them?
- wait for the M2 model (should come out this year)
