@rew_w I see. Thank you very much for your reply! Have a nice day!

@VGDensetsu I don't think this illustration is his work.
I was classmates with Mr. Ooshiba in an art school seminar before he joined Sega, so I'm very familiar with his style.
He fell ill during his new employee training and left the company without hardly ever showing up for work.
English

@rew_w Hello REW-San. I was wondering if you knew whether this package illustration was created by Mr Sohhei Oshiba (I’ve heard he worked at Sega for about a year, but I’ve never been able to confirm this).

@Kan_Naito_JP 内藤さん、こんにちは。折茂賢司さんの近況をご存知でしょうか?2000年代初頭(『ルーンブリッド』が中止になった後)にゲーム業界を離れたような印象を受けているのですが、それ以降、彼が何をしているのか分かりません。

@BEN2106_do こんにちは、BENさん。確認ですが、これらのパッケージイラストはすべてあなたが描いたものですか?

@FRANKxZAKKA Hello Mr Hayakawa! I recently came across this illustration presumably done in the late 80s and wondered if it was you who drew it:

English

@rjfrazer I think so. I'll look it up when I get the chance, but @VGDensetsu probably already has a thread on the artist.

Character model sheets and illustrations for the Super Famicom RPG Feda: The Emblem of Justice, unearthed, including artwork of unused characters.

@puzzle_yanoman こんな感じで一作目のビジュアルに関してはほぼあるのではないかと 当時まだ未発表のボツキャラまで載っててえらいこっちゃと思いました

@verionj There's as little activity on Tumblr as there is on Twitter or Mastodon now. I mainly used it to post articles before I had my own site.

@VGDensetsu I don't know where you heard this story, but from the beginning of its planning and production, it was intended for the Mega Drive and had nothing to do with the Mega CD.
A Japan-only product at the end of the Mega Drive era.

なぜか需要がある様で、ちょっとだけ。
30周年だし。
まずはパッケージのプリント見本から以下に続く。
For some reason, there seems to be a demand for it, so I'm going to scan it a bit.
Let's start with a sample print of the package.
Continued below.

@rew_w Hi! I read that The Hybrid Front started as a Mega-CD game. Do you know anything about this version?
English

@SlibTheSlime I'll take a look at my HDD tonight, but I dont remember seeing the game being reviewed in a French magazine.
English

@VGDensetsu My understanding is Vasum (Dando) was also previewed and advertised in a few French video game magazines, too. Finding the review copy would really be something if it still exists.

Sal Velluto also penciled the box art for Justice League Task Force (inked by George McVey). Nice to see Sal's website capture his video game credits so clearly: velluto.com/list.html

Thanks to this old 1986 portfolio image from Mark Fisher posted by @thatsgoodweb, OVGA was able to identify and confirm with Mark that he illustrated the box art for Infocom’s Leather Goddesses of Phobos! Unfortunately the original art was never returned 😠

Vasum / Dando advertised as Treco's third Mega Drive game in the manual of Kyūkyoku Tiger and illustrated by Yasushi Torisawa / 酉澤安施 (spoiler: it was never released)
