Why’s she so excited? Because her big sister plays for the Cougars, and the Cougar varsity got a big win over Mundelein tonight, 11-25, 25-20, 25-23. And her sister’s team won, too!

Cougars go 5-0, don’t drop a set all day, win the Harvard tournament, and now off to get ready for Homecoming!

Cougars stay perfect in CSL North play, downing Niles North 25-18, 28-26. All levels win for the third straight program sweep.

Cougars fall on the road to Lakes, now 4-5 on the season heading to the Antioch tourney at the D117 field house this weekend.

Great job to our Freshman team for going 2-1 to win their first quad of the year! Double the fun to win the quad at home.

Took us a set to catch up to the speed, but once we did, we gave #1 St. Francis a battle, falling in the Regional championship 9-25, 18-25. These girls fought hard and loud and together to the end. Very proud of the effort, the attitude, and the pride these girls showed in VHVB.

What’s that? Speak up. We’ll be right back? Gotcha. Back to Ridgewood HS Thursday for the Reg’l final after our 25-17, 25-21 win over Amundsen. Cieslinski w/7 kills, Hart 6 +3 aces, Ramirez 4, Davis 2 +5 digs. Raval 20 assists 8 digs. Hammond 9 digs Blair w/5. Full team effort!

Cougars get another CSL win, 25-12, 25-19 over Maine East. That’s 13-6 since the first two weeks and playing our best just a week from the playoffs. F-S and FR also with wins tonight.

Cougar 🧹 vs. Regina on Sr. Night. The all senior lineup gets it done. Todorovich big with 7 kills and enough digs that now she’ll never stop about wanting to play Libero. 🙄 Lots of great play from seven great seniors.

Cougars sweep HP at three levels. Varsity’s 25-14, 25-18 win included Spytek getting a dig with her skull. Not how we teach it, but it worked. OHs Ramirez and Cieslinski with 6 kills each. Senior Night is Thursday at 6. Be there!

Strange night? Yep. But once we finished debating which class won the color competition, we got down to business, beating Maine West 23-25, 25-14, 25-12 on the road. Now we’re on the long bus ride home. And there’s singing. Lots of singing. Mr. Little might not approve…

Cougars showing how far they’ve come in a few weeks. Yes, a 23-25, 23-25 loss to Niles West, but a far cry from the last time we saw them. Keep grinding. Keep improving.

Cougars fall on the road to Mundelein. JV had some strong bleacher dance moves, but that wasn’t enough to overcome an errant night of hitting. Second round of CSL play starts Tuesday!

Cougars with a BIG home win over Niles North, 25-9, 19-25, 25-17. That’s 7 wins in the last 8 matches. FR and JV teams win, too. JV down 6-14, wins 2 of every 3 pts the rest of the way (Coach Spig’s favorite) and wins 26-24 in the third. Back at it tomorrow at Mundelein.
