Today feels like a double Eid/Bayram for me, my book is out! Years of research, countless hours of writing and rewriting, and moments of doubt and persistence have now turned into printed pages. If you are interested in the intersection of religion and politics, empire, belonging, and how states and subjects negotiated difference, I have a lot to say to you. Very excited (and a little emotional) to see it out in the world.
