Dismissing actual user experience instead of investigating it is not scientific. It is simply a convenient way to avoid accountability.

And welfare schemes are funded from the government's combined tax revenues, not from the pockets of income taxpayers alone. You're confusing who remits a tax with who bears its cost. GST is paid every time a taxable purchase is made, regardless of whether the buyer pays income tax. A daily-wage worker, a farmer buying taxable goods, or a pensioner shopping at a store all pay GST on applicable items. The only thing you're proving is that you don't understand the difference between income tax and taxation. Calling 97% of Indians "freeloaders" doesn't make you sound intelligent it just advertises your ignorance. Maybe spend less time acting like you're single-handedly financing the nation and more time learning how the tax system actually works.

A person earning 60 lakhs/annum has to pay approx 17Lakhs as taxes. Out of remaining, 43 lakhs if he buys creta top model for 23 lakhs, it would have taxes of 7-8 lakhs. So to comfortably buy a creta of 23 lakhs one has to pay a tax of approx 25 lakhs(17 income tax + 8 car taxes). Also in next 5 years.. if we consider 2L/year running costs.. atleast 5lakhs out of those 10 lakhs are taxes. So to own and run a Creta top model for 5 years. You need to earn 60lakhs Pay 17lakhs as incometax Pay 8 lakhs as car taxes Pay 5 lakhs as fuel,Mai,Ins taxes. You pay rs 30 Lakhs taxes to drive a 15 lakh car for 5 years. A country which taxes the mobility so heavily would obviously not accelerate to needed speeds of progress.

As usual, the mental dwarfs want world-class roads, hospitals, defence, railways, subsidies, and welfare schemes but dont want to pay taxes. Everyone pays indirect taxes through GST, fuel taxes, excise, etc. And for those obsessed with direct taxes, India's personal income tax rates are hardly unusual. Many developed countries have higher top tax rates than India often above 40–50%, while India's highest effective slab is around 30%.

Are you dumb? Don't you understand that there are two types of taxes: direct and indirect. Direct taxes are paid by eligible income earners, while indirect taxes like GST are paid by almost everyone. So don't act as if paying taxes makes you some kind of hero. Every single person in this country pays taxes in one way or another. Wake up.
