Lots of countries do bread well, but Georgian bread is exceptional. You buy it from a bakery called a tone, which is basically a room with an oven, a work surface, and a hatch through which you buy the bread. You can smell it walking down the street, and it's always warm.

It was September 1992 and I met up Mani & Mark Collins to go see a band a mate had mentioned. We arrived and Mark recognised their new guitarist from their roadie days together, they chatted & caught up, then they took to the stage and we all watched Oasis for the very first time

This happened five years ago. @TheLathums hadn’t even been to a festival, let alone played one. They took me up on my offer and played an amazing set. New bands, stick to what you are doing, share your music, work hard. We have our ear to the ground, get yourself heard

Just 64km to Tangier tomorrow, and the loop is complete. The thought is overwhelming, and I know there will be tears. Crazy really, it's only a bike ride! I'm booked into the hotel I stayed in all those weeks ago. The place may be the same, but Morocco has definitely changed me.

@sainsburys Leeds is absolute chaos today, as usual. Only two manned tills. Not enough staff manning self scans. Older people not able to use self scanning. Your money saving exercise will backfire when people stop shopping with you
