Vegan Land Movement tree planting update! It’s incredible what a community of like-minded, dedicated vegans can do over 2 days! More important though is the huge positive impact this will have for wildlife - creating safety (no more hunting) as well as a future woodland habitat.

@earthFgardener Great news, thank you John 🙏. Imagine if many groups went & removed them, it would be wonderful. Not only do they litter around the trees but they also strangle them. Many trees were found dead on the salvage expeditions. Please be careful at any roadside. Hi-Viz + signs etc👍

Here's a guide to salvaging and reusing those plastic tree guards which litter our countryside (they're forgotten once the grants are paid and the follow-up never happens...). I'm now inspired to go and salvage a local plastic blot on the countryside here. How about you?

A great thread showing how land, with a little help, can be allowed to heal and nature regenerate. The re-use of abandoned plastic tree tubes - which had been collected by volunteers from roadsides - brims with positive, joined-up thinking. Fabulous!

Thank you to all of you for helping create these safe havens for wildlife to flourish. Compassion and hope can win out when we all work together.. The VLM has now removed a total of 9 areas of land from animal agriculture and given them back to endangered wildlife, forever. 🌱
