Iran has launched strikes on Israel and U.S. bases in retaliation for the unprovoked U.S. attack on Iran. Iran also warned Western nations and Gulf states that, in response to these actions, international shipping and energy infrastructure could face potential threats.

Israeli military chief Eyal Zamir stated, as reported by Reuters, that Iran fired two ballistic missiles with a range of 4,000 km at the U.S.-British ‌military base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean.

According to police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba, Dlamini was responsible for Support and Administration within the Metro Police.

According to spokesperson Daphne Mokwena, this output is substantially lower than the 2,608.82 gigawatt-hours produced during the same period last year, which incurred a cost of R15.64 billion.

Eskom reported an expenditure of R6.395 billion on diesel-fuelled open cycle gas turbines since May 2025, resulting in the generation of over 1,077 gigawatt-hours of electricity.
