Sixers star Joel Embiid was asked about the apparent discomfort he had in his stomach area during the game. He referenced a hit he took on a screen that was already after the play. He thought it was unnecessary, but then said the Sixers have to be physical too if that’s the reality of it.

The subtle key to this play is that Andre Drummond has made enough 3 pointers this season to actually have gravity, which allowed for the swing to Edgecombe.
This would not have been possible early in the season. Teams would have just let Dre shoot
