@VP_Bantam The crucial game to win is Plymouth as it kills off the chances of all teams except Luton currently outside the p/off positions getting beyond us. We could do with Exeter being down before the last game but they're hanging on. Think/hope we get to 75 pts & 5th with Luton 6th.

After tonight’s results, 2 more wins guarantees playoffs. Looking at run-ins, my money is on Stockport getting 3rd. I think 7 points gets us 4th, as long as 3 of them are against Bolton #bcafc

@AccyGaz @BCAFCBH I know away has been poor but Barnsley have nothing really to play for now and I hope we’d want a reaction to Saturday, so I fancy us this weekend. Plymouth and Bolton won’t be easy but I can’t see us losing both of them. I just hope there is no pressure on the Exeter game.

@VP_Bantam @BCAFCBH Yep I agree 3-4 points but as I say and it’s only my opinion I struggle to see us winning any of the next three.

@AccyGaz @BCAFCBH Tough, yes. But you have to remember it’s unlikely any of the chasing pack will pick up maximum points. Luton have to catch up 7 points on us before we can drop out, and they only have 12 to play for. In reality, 3 or 4 more points will probably be enough in the end.

@VP_Bantam @BCAFCBH I’m not arguing with you at all but I look at the next three games and I’m not confident that we win any of them.

@BCAFCBH @Jacob763_ It’s rarely the best team that goes up through the playoffs, it’s the one that handles the pressure/expectation the best. That’s why anything can and does happen.

@AccyGaz @BCAFCBH If we go to Exeter having to win for a playoff spot, and they don’t, it simply would not be good enough, regardless of Exeter’s situation. If the players can’t be up for that they’re in the wrong job.

@BCAFCBH @VP_Bantam Been saying for ages that I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we miss out. Our fixtures are tough, I think we’ll go to Exeter needing to win.

@HatterStew @BCAFCBH @SFC_Copey We will, there are still going to be plenty of twists and turns before all is said and done. And there is always that one team who wins their last 3 or 4 games and nicks the last spot!!

@VP_Bantam @BCAFCBH @SFC_Copey We'll see - still a lot of football to be played - over 10% of the league season for some clubs. Lots of top six playing each other too, so points have to be dropped somewhere.

Does 8 points get us over the line? Because that’s what I reckon we’ll get

@Oliver_johnson0 Yes, can’t argue with that. At the time it was best he moved on and even now if he was 2nd/3rd choice. But as it’s turned out he’s better than what we brought in. Would’ve been interesting to see how it went if he wasn’t injured last season and played it all.

@VP_Bantam He mentioned something in his post match the other day about being happy now he’s playing regularly. I don’t think he would’ve stayed with yous if he was on the bench most weeks.

Shit, hope the Cook brigade don’t see this. Although in hindsight he’d have been a better option on the bench than Wheatley and Mullin #bcafc

@HatterStew @BCAFCBH @SFC_Copey Bolton have a pig of a run in but if Stevenage win tonight I think it would still take a colossal collapse from any of the current 3 to 6 not to be there at the end.

@BCAFCBH @VP_Bantam @SFC_Copey Sure - but mathematically it would be in our hands and we're in good form. Bradford results don't come into it. Bolton's form is patchy at best and they still play 6th, 8th, 3rd and then us.

@VP_Bantam Defending has been atrocious at times, always seem to concede a slack goal. Think Cook would have been a good option to keep if he was prepared to be not starting. Hindsight a great thing in life though.

@avalleybantam Agree, 3rd or 4th is the priority. Would be nice to drag Cardiff back into it, they have Hudds and Reading next but then Northampton and Port Vale. They’ve probably done enough.

@VP_Bantam Nah. Bolton win. Its Stockport that are the threat. We play Bolton at home so that's still in our own hands. Lets drag Cardiff into it. 3rd or 4th doesnt really matter which we finish in.

The optimist in me wants Bolton to win, the realist wants Cardiff to win and keep Bolton away. I therefore have no idea what result I actually want. A draw??? #bcafc
