@clyde_shafer @Cade_XR @martydudeVR You can just connect another battery. Battery life is equivalent to Quest 3. Graphics and the overall experience are WAY better though.

Dude this headset is fucking insane. Its genuinely a spatial computing device. Going to put out a first impressions later this week.

@clyde_shafer @Cade_XR @martydudeVR It’s got games. It even has some exclusives you can’t get on Quest. And some games that are on both (like Demeo) are WAY better on Vision Pro than Quest. Plus, you can obviously stream PC games to it, and the PC VR experience on it makes Quest 3 look like it’s outdated.

@gfodor @martydudeVR True, but depends on your face. I've been wearing mine all day with just the solo strap. I'm even sending this message from inside it!

@martydudeVR it is kind of absurd but sadly like most things in VR headsets nobody seemed to to wear it more than an hour or two to see if it leads to physical pain before shipping it

@SadlyItsBradley It is a LITTLE intense (climbing and combat) for those who don’t have any VR experience, IMO. I can see why traditional gamers would shit on it, it’s too hard for lazy gamers.

@VRNima Truly was a beautiful game It made me feel sad seeing gamers trash on it for not having all of the systems that a mainline Horizon Zero Dawn game would have Even though I believe a lot of those would translate into menial unfun labor in VR

PSVR2 graphics really are absolutely insane… These aren’t cutscenes, they’re in-game screenshots on base PS5! It looks even better in full 3D with HDR in VR!

@Cade_XR Fair take But PSVR2 also has Gran Turismo 7, the 1st party VR versions of Resident Evil 4 and 8, and the best versions of Kayak VR, Pools VR, and No Man’s Sky (due to HDR, trigger haptics, and head haptics).

@VRNima Call of the mountain was very nearly the reason I would have bought a psvr2, but ended up not buying it cause I wasn't sure it was a good idea to buy a whole console + headset for one game xD

That’s wild. Everyone I’ve talked to always assumed that Even Realities is a “small startup”. It’s a company with over 100 employees with a founder that’s Ex-Apple and worked on the iPhone camera!

Crazy, I was at the Even Realities talk and they mentioned a dev posted an AWE app. I downloaded it to my glasses immediately. This is amazing. It’s the full AWE schedule, browsable, in your smartglasses, without any cruft. It’s great!

Does "Copying Shared Cache Symbols" from Xcode to Vision Pro run faster when using the USB debug dongle? Over fast wifi it takes like 5+ minutes for me.
